Aon Consulting has long been partnering with Georgia State University to produce the Replacement Ratio Study, the definitive analysis of how much income employees need to replace in retirement to maintain their pre-retirement standard of living. In 2008, we issue the next iteration of this report where we reflect on the new realities of the retirement landscape, resulting from legal and social changes in the four years since our last report. With the updated information, employers will be better able to provide targeted employee education about savings goals, and employees will be better armed to plan their individual retirements.
